Why is the charge on my statement marked as 'recurring'? I don't have a subscription


Sometimes a charge may appear as ‘recurring’ on your statement, even for non-subscription charges.

Our payment processor cannot store CVC codes (3 or 4-digit security codes) so we mark payments made with saved payment information as ‘recurring’.

That way the card-issuing bank knows why charge requests are missing the CVC code information.
