Why do I have a charge on my card statement from Stripe, not Spirepoint? I'm not a Stripe user

Our payment processor is Stripe, and there can be a delay in displaying Spirepoint's information on your credit card statement.

This means that, for a short period of time (usually around 48 hours), your statement will temporarily show a pending charge from "Stripe" or "Stripe Payments Canada".  

This typically happens with Amex cards, but may also occur with other cards.

Once the charge is completed, it will update with more detailed information about Spirepoint.
